Terms of Service
1. Who may use FileSync
FileSync may be used only by people the maintainer has personally invited and set it up for. It is not offered, sold or supported as a public product or service.
2. What it is
FileSync is free software that runs on your own computer and connects it to cloud storage accounts you own, such as Google Drive. Your use of those accounts is also governed by the provider’s own terms, for example Google’s Terms of Service.
3. Your responsibilities
- Connect only accounts that you own or are allowed to use.
- Keep your own backups of anything important. FileSync is not a backup service.
- Use it lawfully and in line with your storage provider’s rules.
4. No warranty
FileSync is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It may contain bugs, may stop working if a provider changes its service, and may be changed or discontinued at any time.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any loss of data, files or access, or for any other damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, FileSync.
6. Updates
The maintainer may offer updates. You choose when to install them.
7. Ending use
You can stop using FileSync at any time by disconnecting your accounts and uninstalling it. The maintainer may stop providing it at any time.
8. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
